Smoke in the Lobby of Eau Claire Lookout
Concerns have been raised as to the presence of cigar/cigarette smoke being detected in the lobby area of the building from time to time. An initial review of the matter has been undertaken and a summary of the actions taken to date can be found by clicking here. Further actions and reviews are ongoing and residents are requested to refrain from from smoking in common areas including hallways, stairwells, the parkade, the lobby and entrances.
Suite Water Shutoff Valves
The volunteer engineering committee has completed an analysis of selected suites in our building to attempt to document the options each owner has to shutoff water supply to their suite when plumbing repairs are required. Vacation Reminder
The Board would like to remind all owners of By law 62 b) xlii) that they should not leave a unit vacant or unattended for in excess of 72 hours without inspection by the owner or his / her agent.
Owners should also be aware that if any damage occurs to adjacent units or Common Property as a result of a unit being unattended, the owner may be liable for the cost of repairs and or the deductible that would be payable under an insurance claim made by the Corporation.
